Project 5 notebook - page

Let us consider a lift shaft.
I may stand in a lift, press a lever and rise, or press a lever and descend. The walls of the lift shaft are mirrors, the floor and the ceiling are mirrors. What will my experience be? AN endless line of echoed reflections will confront me on all sides. And though I will see myself reflected from ‘every possible angle’ yet I shall be no wiser to the actual source of those reflections. Relationships will necessarily have the same effect. The circumstances are identical.

Point (i) I must build a room (small) which when entered presents the same effect as the mirrored lift shaft. This little room must be entered before anybody can see the paintings.
