I was on holliday from artschool from Holland. It was proberbly 1971 or 1972.
Robert had introduced me to his world and I was a quit young lady, very much in love with him.
We normely traveled by taxi, so this day again, he took me by taxi and stopped inside the woods.
He wanted me, to show something.
There I saw Diogenes sitting inside of his barrel.
I didn't even looked strange up and I pretended, it was the normalyest thing of the world.
I do remember, I thought, strange he is waiting there for Robert, to pose for him.
Proberbly, I didn't realised, that he was living there. Now, I think, it was a quit strange situation.
But in Holland, there were almoast no vagrants, so everything around Roberts life, was strange to me, but I loved it.
Robert took a little seat for himself and started painting an aquarel of Diogenes.
I had a little camera on me, because I did had some photography on artschool in the first year, I made several black/white photos of Roberts surroundings and people we met.
So I had some work done for my artschool, what I could use for my paintings and made a project about Robert for my exam in 1975.
