So far as I remembered this painting was on the wall, where you came into his tiny portrait shop, on the Barbican. (photo made in winter 1971).
It all began there. Robert was working on his first theme vagrancy, to make his first exhibition.
Vagrants came passing by for a little pocket money and sitting model for his paintings.
Romances started with different ladies and modeling for his painting "Old Man and Young ladies".
