After its authenticity of this painting was questioned, it was withdrawn from sale by Christies. The painting has subsequently figured quite a number of times on eBay, but is still (Jan 2009) unsold.

The circumstances of its creation were given on the forum of lenkiewicz.org (Topic: Christies 3 March 2005). No evidence has been presented to show that it has been repainted or touched up. It is here regarded as a fully authentic painting by Robert Lenkiewicz.
